Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions you might be asking. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please use the Contact tab above to send us a message or send an email to barbdeen@gmail.com

When can I arrive? When must I leave?

You may check-in between 3 pm and 7 pm. If you cannot arrive by 7 pm please let us know so we can make alternate plans. On the day you leave, please check-out by 11 am so we can prepare for other guests.

What will I eat?

Our suites have large eat-in kitchens that provide everything you need to make your own meals.  There are many local restaurants where you can eat out or get take out as well. Farmer’s markets, grocery stores, Amish produce stands and bakeries abound throughout the county where you can easily purchase a myriad of food options to eat in your suite.  Local foods and quality grocery stores are minutes away.

Barb Musser’s “famous” homemade organic gluten free granola can be purchased for an extra fee along with local Pequea Valley yoghurt made on a nearby Amish farm.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

If you cancel your reservation 5 or more days before you are scheduled to arrive, there is a small $15 cancellation fee. If you must cancel fewer than 5 days before your scheduled arrival, you’ll be billed for the cost of the room, unless we find other guests.

Can I smoke?

Not inside our home; sorry. Some of your hosts are allergic to cigarette smoke so it’s not permitted. We do have a large back yard.

Can I bring my pet?

We love animals and regret that we can’t accommodate your pets in our suites. But our one-year-old ultra-friendly Golden Doodle named Dosie would love to be enjoyed during your stay with us.

How do I pay?

We gladly accept your personal checks, travelers’ checks, money orders and cash. Currently, we don’t accept credit or debit cards. There are ATM machines nearby.
