The First Friday of Every Month from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Visit galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, breweries the first Friday of every month.  Admission is free.

Mud Sales

Every spring continuing throughout the summer months, local fire companies hold “mud” sales where you can buy antiques, furniture, building materials, quilts, and other treasures for cheap. Our guests come from far away for these fun days and return year after year.

New Year’s Red Rose Drop

Downtown historic Lancaster city celebrates the new year every January 1 by dropping… a red rose! Local cafes are open late and street vendors sell delicious food. Ring in 2013 in Lancaster!

American Quilter’s Society QuiltWeek

You don’t have to be able to make quilts or even sew to enjoy this event. Every spring at the downtown Lancaster County Convention Center.

The Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Lancaster City

Join hundreds of Christmas enthusiasts in Lancaster’s square to sing Christmas carols with over one hundred tubas.  Friday after Thanksgiving.
